A
cup of TEA - Diary in
memory of the forest.
Research:
#3 - Best friends...
Date: 19. January 2008.
The trees are our best friends,
or said in another way. We will not survive
without oxygen, and trees are along with other
plants the producers of oxygen. They do also
store big amounts of CO2. And the big forest
also has a big effect on how the weather is.
The big rain forests both holds on water and
create clouds. Just think what happens to a
place where the rain forest has been cut down,
it turns into a try land within few years. The
rain forest in Africa do create some of the
clouds that later become the rain and also big
storms in America. So when there is less of
the Amazon, it is also less areas where the
rain will stop. So it looks like that is part
of the reason why we see more big storms coming
to the US. If you not believe that rain forest
may be part of the change in weather, then think
about the name "Rain forest".
How it works with the rain forest: Trough the
day heat from the sun makes water in the forest
into fog. When you have a hot air in a area,
then some of the fog turns into clouds that
goes into the air-stream where it follows it
over the sea and built up to big clouds before
it hits land on the other side.
